I'm Kati (aka the person behind the computer)! I've spent almost ten years crafting designs that are not only visually engaging but, more importantly, make a meaningful impact on the user experience. For me, it's all about striking that balance between aesthetics and functionality—designing products that people love to use, and that work seamlessly in their everyday lives.
I've had the pleasure of working on everything from small start-ups to big, established companies, and through it all, one thing has stayed the same: my focus on the user. I'm all about finding creative, simple solutions to complex problems. My goal is to design products that feel intuitive and make people's lives better—whether that's refining an existing system or building something entirely new from scratch.
What really excites me is working with amazing teams to create something that's bigger than the sum of its parts. I thrive on collaboration, and I'm always eager to share what I know to help the team grow—because when the team is strong, the product gets stronger too. From crafting design systems that scale to making sure every detail feels just right, I'm passionate about making designs that not only look great but work great too.

I taught a 400-level interaction design class, mentoring students through the design process - from research and interviewing users to creating polished Figma prototypes, while fostering new design thinking.
