EdTech Startup

As the UX and UI Designer for the Engagewit project, my main focus was on creating an intuitive and engaging platform for teachers and students. I began the design process by developing wireframes to outline the platform's structure and user flow, ensuring that everything was mapped out in a way that made sense for our end users. I then conducted user research, speaking directly with teachers to understand their needs and pain points. These insights were crucial in shaping the platform's design, making sure we addressed the real challenges teachers face in the classroom.
Once the research was integrated, I designed a clickable prototype to bring the platform to life in an interactive way. The prototype allowed us to test the user experience, refine the design, and use it as a foundation for further development and fundraising. My role was all about ensuring the platform was simple, functional, and designed to meet the needs of teachers, making their workflow easier and more efficient.
Project Overview
This Edtech startup was designed to address the labor shortage in education by connecting university students directly with classrooms, offering much-needed support to teachers. This idea started as a university thesis, and the challenge was to transform it from a theoretical concept into a practical, clickable prototype that could be tested and refined.
As part of the team, I helped take this vision and turn it into a usable prototype that could serve as the foundation for future development and funding. Our goal was to make sure that the platform was simple, intuitive, and met the needs of both teachers and students.- Client EngageWIT
