Family Nurturing Center

As the Project Lead, Front-End Developer, and UX Designer, I took the reins in guiding this project from the very beginning, overseeing the entire process to ensure everything stayed on track and met the objectives. I was deeply involved in every phase—from managing the project timeline and collaborating with the Family Nurturing Center team to ensure we truly understood their needs, to leading the development and design efforts.

In addition to my project lead responsibilities, I designed and built the front-end of the platform, making sure it was not only user-friendly but also visually intuitive. The system needed to be seamless, reliable, and easy for the staff to navigate, so I focused on creating an interface that would support them in their mission, rather than make their jobs harder.

Project Overview

Family Nurturing Center was dealing with a big problem: an old, unreliable database and a ton of static spreadsheets. These tools were making their day-to-day operations harder than they needed to be. Data was being lost or duplicated, and the team was spending more time managing this mess than doing what they really wanted to do—helping families.

When we came in, we saw an opportunity to create a platform that not only cleaned up the chaos but also gave them the tools they needed to focus on their mission. We built a dynamic, easy-to-use platform to handle participant data, family visits, and more—freeing up their time so they could focus on making a difference.
